Job Description:
This position is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of a branch office. This includes managing all customer services provided in the branch and promoting all of the products and services offered by the Bank. Direct activities of customer service representatives and other branch staff. This position is responsible for making regular business development calls to solicit new business or improve services to existing customers, as well as ensure that all customers receive the highest quality customer service.
Essential Duties

Exercise supervisory responsibilities over functions of the office, including implementation of policy and explanation of company programs, policies and objectives

Direct activities to promote growth of the company and to accomplish management’s objectives for attracting new business

Calling on major existing and prospective customers to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business

With the guidance of the Human Resources Department, staff, develop, motivate and manage Branch staff models
-
Direct the operations of the branch to ensure the finest customer service while earning profit goals
-
Represent the company in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business
-
Utilizing system controls to track assets, measure the size and performance of the branch’s assets, loan portfolio, ensure budget expenditures are with the bank’s allocation and meet compliance and record keeping standards; assess the performance and takes appropriate action to ensure that all goals and service standards are met

Protects the Bank’s assets through security policies and adherence to regulatory and overall Bank policies

Promote and enhance the development of all employees including one’s self, through continued education and training
-
Consistently reviews all existing procedures for possible change, maintains and expands technical knowledge, attends seminars or reads training materials and other materials for continuing education and shows initiative in learning banking trends

Performs and assists in other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent experience

Good knowledge of overall Bank sales promotion, operations and policies

Retail bank management experience of over eight years

Manages a branch office with total average deposits of $51 million to $150 million

Typically has extensive experience in consumer, residential or small business lending

Good knowledge of consumer lending

Able to introduce one’s self with the intention of promoting the products and services of the bank

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate policies, procedures, and objectives effectively throughout the bank and to represent the bank positively to the public

Must be able to quickly respond to customer’s inquiries and requests in a demanding environment

Must have good analytical skills to assess and evaluate operations and sales goals, and draft reports for management

Must write effectively to communicate business ideas and responses to customers and management

Must be able to have sufficient knowledge of office equipment and computer technology to operate programs and equipment within the branch

Capable of handling customer and employee contact situations tactfully and professionally
